Synopsis English

Jeon Jin Ho is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become Park Kae In's roommate. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. Three months before the presidential nominating convention, Jang Il Joon, from the New Wave Party, declared his candidacy. On that same day, a woman died in a gas explosion in Sam Chuk. Yoo Min Ki, a documentary producer, heard of his mother's sudden death and headed back home. As he cast his mother's ashes in the sea, he thought of his childhood: his father always blurted out that Min Ki was not his son whenever he was drunk. After the funeral, Min Ki returned to Seoul and Jang Il Joon asked Min Ki to work as a PR agent to record the election campaign process. When Min Ki asked Il Joon why he was chosen, Il Joon confessed that Min Ki was his son. 3 bulan sebelum pengumuman kandidat capres, Jang Il-Joon, dari Partai Aliran Baru, mengumumkan dirinya sebagai calon. Di hari yg sama ada seorang wanita yg tewas karena ledakana gas di Sam-Chuk. Ada dugaan kalo pencalonan Jang Il Joon berhubungan dengan kejadian itu. Di lain sisi, Ha Min-Ki, seorang produser dokumentr mendengar kalau ibunya tiba2 meninggal dan langsung menuju Sam-Chuk. Selama perjalanan, dia teringat masa kecilnya, dimana sang ayah selalu mengigau kalau dia bukanlah anak kandung ayahnya setiap kali mabuk. Min kI mempercayainyakarena ibnya selalu menangis kalau sedang melihat sebuah foto jadul seorang pria.Min-Ki pun akhirnya tau kalau foto itu hilang ketika dia beberes benda2 milik ibunya. Setelah pemakaman Min-Ki kembali ke Seoul dan Jang Il-Joon memintta Min Ki menjadi humas untuk mencatat proses pemilu. Min-Ki pun bertanya kenapa dia yg dipilih, dan Il-Joon menyatakan kalau Min-Ki adalah anaknya. Pria di foto yg pernah dia lihat itu akhirnya ketahuan kalau dia adalah Jang Il Joon. Nah, sekarang Min ki punya kesimpulan, kenapa foto tsb jadi hilang, lalu ibunya tewas dan menuduh Jang Il-Joon lah yg membunuhnya.

Karakter Ryuusuke yang lama tinggal di Amerika dan fasih berbahasa Inggris cukup membuatku khawatir dengan nominasi beberapa aktornya. Ketika Mizushima terpilih, paling tidak adegan dialog dalam bahasa Inggris tidak akan menjadi masalah (baca: japanese engrish pronunciation) mengingat Mizushima fasih berbahasa Inggris akibat dirinya cukup lama tinggal di luar negeri.

Aktor utama kedua adalah Satoh Takeru , si Kamen Rider Den-O yang didapuk sebagai Koyuki, anggota baru Beck dibelakang rythm guitar plus second vocalist. Peran Koyuki yang streotip mirip dengan karakter Nogami Ryotaro dalam Kamen Rider Den-O sepertinya tak akan sulit dibawakan Satoh. Fokus cerita sepertinya akan lebih mengarah ke karakter Ryuusuke dibandingkan Koyuki.
